The New England Patriots will kick off their preseason action against the Washington Commanders later this week on Friday. However, that isn\u2019t the only exciting event on the calendar for that day.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the game, the Patriots will unveil a new statue of their franchise legend Tom Brady. The decision to create Brady a statue was revealed by Robert Kraft during the retirement ceremony for Brady\u2019s No. 12 jersey last summer.<\/p>\n

Considering how Brady led New England to six Super Bowl championships, it\u2019s safe to say he\u2019s a pretty popular figure in the region. With that in mind, it\u2019s likely going to be a packed house at Gillette Stadium for the unveiling of the statue.<\/p>\n

Not everyone is going to be able to attend the ceremony, but that\u2019s alright, because you will be able to watch the unveiling on social media. The Patriots announced on Monday morning that they would be streaming the ceremony on their digital and social platforms for free.<\/p>\n
