The defensive coordinator is disappointed but knows the cornerback has the right attitude to course correct.<\/p>\n

Cam Taylor-Britt entered this season as the Cincinnati Bengals\u2019 CB1. But he\u2019s played well below expectations so far.<\/p>\n

As Kelsey Conway pointed out, per Pro Football Focus, Taylor-Britt has allowed 37 catches on 56 targets for 565 yards and seven touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Conway also reported that head coach Zac Taylor wants to see consistency from the corner.<\/p>\n

Mike Hilton said it\u2019s \u201chard to tell\u201d what the reason for his struggles are, calling it \u201ca slump\u201d.<\/p>\n

Finally, according to Paul Denher Jr., Lou Anarumo said about Taylor-Britt, \u201cCertainly, those stats aren\u2019t what you want. If we just tackle the guy on a five-yard out… they tempoed us and he should have gotten up there and pressed him, and it doesn\u2019t even happen, but we didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the Bengals\u2019 defensive coordinator hasn\u2019t lost hope. \u201cWe are never going to give up on a guy like that,<\/strong>\u201d Anarumo said. \u201cHe\u2019s got the great want-to and he\u2019s doing everything he can. But we\u2019ve got to do it better, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
