He spent six seasons across three teams in college, starting with three years at the University of Central Florida, two years at Oklahoma, and finishing up at Oregon, where he led the Ducks to the Big Ten Championship, pocketed Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year honors, and finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_dillongabriel_?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@_dillongabriel_<\/a> is officially a dawg! \ud83d\udd8a\ufe0f<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/crosscountrymtg?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@crosscountrymtg<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DawgPound?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#DawgPound<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/waMCRlA6Fy\">pic.twitter.com\/waMCRlA6Fy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Cleveland Browns (@Browns) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Browns\/status\/1930366004431073494?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 4, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p id=\"qfSThP\">Gabriel finished his collegiate career as the all-time FBS leader in total touchdowns with 189 and tied Case Keenum for the all-time record in passing touchdowns with 155.<\/p>\n<p id=\"rd25Kr\">With the Browns, Gabriel will enter training camp in a four-way battle for a roster spot with veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, along with fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders.<\/p>\n<p id=\"WMW6Rr\">Being in a competition is nothing new to Gabriel, as he explained in May during rookie minicamp:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p id=\"zJElcJ\">\u201cIt\u2019s not new to me. I\u2019ve done it at every stop, and I\u2019ve done it at every level. So, thank goodness for that and great preparation in that. But also know that, you know, my competition is yesterday. How can I be better than I was yesterday?
