It should not take long for\u00a0Green Bay Packers\u00a0fans and the media to learn the outcome of the Jaire Alexander saga. In February,\u00a0NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport\u00a0shared that Green Bay was open to trade calls for the two-time All-Pro. However, by April,\u00a0reports\u00a0emerged that Alexander and the team were working on a new deal, suggesting he could stay in Green Bay after all.<\/p>\n
The best-case scenario for the Packers and Alexander is a resolution that keeps him with the team. It would be difficult for Green Bay to get significant value in a trade. Additionally, the lack of reliable, experienced outside cornerbacks in their secondary is concerning.<\/p>\n
That said, it is still possible Alexander and the Packers could part ways. If that happens, three NFC teams could step in as potential suitors.<\/p>\n
