<\/p>\nThe\u00a0Green Bay Packers\u00a0have built a strong offensive line due to their versatility. Zach Tom and Elgton Jenkins, two of their best linemen, have played every position on the line. That kind of flexibility means the Packers have plenty of options to shuffle players around if injuries hit the trenches. It is one of the reasons their front has stayed solid and able to adapt over the past few years.<\/p>\n
During last week\u2019s media availability, Packers offensive line coach Luke Butkus talked about Aaron Banks and Zach Tom. He praised Banks for his attention to detail and veteran leadership, and said Tom is always looking to improve. He also gave a unique compliment to former first-round pick Jordan Morgan.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow athletic he is, how easily he moves, how smooth it looks. Sometimes it even seems like he\u2019s not straining or playing hard,\u201d Butkus\u00a0said\u00a0about what Morgan brings to the left tackle competition.<\/p>\n
“I think it’s just natural. It’s easy for him to move, to gain ground, to skim the blades of the grass,” he added. “It’s effortless, where for a guy like me it looks clunky and robotic. I really like where he’s headed and the direction he’s going.”<\/p>\n

Morgan played 186 snaps as a rookie before being shut down for the year with a\u00a0shoulder injury. He took the field for 185 snaps at guard and one as an in-line tight end. In 104\u00a0pass-blocking snaps, he allowed seven pressures, four hurries, and no sacks.<\/p>\n
At the owners’ meeting, Matt LaFleur\u00a0said\u00a0Jordan Morgan will compete with Rasheed Walker for the left tackle job. With Green Bay\u2019s 2026\u00a0cap situation\u00a0already looking tight \u2014 and Walker entering the final year of his rookie deal \u2014 a strong camp from Morgan could change the outlook at the position.
