Game 1: <\/strong>vs. Chargers \u2014 Thursday, July 31 \u2014 8 p.m. ET (NBC) So Detroit will have two home preseason games, one away game, and the Hall of Fame game will take place on a neutral field in Canton, Ohio.<\/p>\n While you may not care too much about the Lions\u2019 preseason opponents, remember that Lions coach Dan Campbell said at the owners meetings that Detroit would be taking part in \u201chopefully two\u201d sets of joint practices. However, he did not reveal which teams they would be going up against.
