While 18 NFL teams were busy diving into multi-day rookie camps this past weekend, the Cincinnati Bengals took a different approach \u2014 opting for a one-day rookie camp under head coach Zac Taylor. But it wasn\u2019t just the condensed camp that had fans talking. Quarterback Joe Burrow\u2019s brief absence from Organized Team Activities (OTAs) to attend the Met Gala in New York became a trending topic among fans and critics alike.<\/p>\n

Some questioned whether Joe Burrow\u2019s off-field appearance reflected poorly on his commitment. But Taylor wasn\u2019t having any of it.<\/p>\n

The Bengals coach, speaking candidly after the team wrapped up its lone rookie camp practice, dismissed any concerns with a mix of humor and perspective. “We’ve got guys that things will come up throughout the offseason program, obligations like that, family obligations, charity obligations, so guys will be in and out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have any questions on Joe\u2019s commitment to us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zac Taylor said he didn\u2019t ask Joe Burrow about the Met Gala – Just said he\u2019s glad to have Joe back in the building.<\/p>\n
