From neck tattoos to zoo keeping to LOTR, there\u2019s only one Taylor Decker. That and more in today\u2019s Notes:<\/p>\n

Detroit Lions left tackle Taylor Decker has been through it since being drafted in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. General managers, coaches\u2014you name it\u2014Decker has seen all kinds of names and faces during his tenure as a professional football player.<\/p>\n

So while it has been amazing to see all of the young players on this team succeed over the last few years, it has been just as sweet watching members of the old guard like Decker and center Frank Ragnow, among others, enjoying this moment.<\/p>\n

This week, Decker was next up in Dave Birkett\u2019s ongoing interview series\u2014which have been fantastic and worth your time\u2014and the two touched on a bunch of different subjects that were outside of football. And if you are a bit of a nerd like me, you might appreciate Decker\u2019s love of fictional fantasy books.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove Lord of the Rings,\u201d Decker told Birkett after being asked what was the last book he had read. \u201cI\u2019ve read all the Lord of the Rings books, I\u2019ve read all the Harry Potter books, stuff like that. Yeah, I\u2019ve read all the Game of Thrones books, even the ones that are the Dance with Dragons ones and stuff like that. I think there\u2019s seven or eight of \u2018em out. I\u2019ve read all those.\u201d<\/p>\n
