The reason they lost both Super Bowls that they lost was the same thing: [the offensive line] couldn\u2019t get it blocked; they just couldn\u2019t. I\u2019ll admit that I was very late watching Aireontae Ersery. But as soon as I put him on, I already sort of had my tackles set \u2014 and then all of the sudden, he jumped to fourth on my board. He showed the athleticism… Ersery ran [the 40-yard dash in] 5.01 seconds at 6 feet 6 and 331 [pounds]. [He\u2019s got] long arms and big hands \u2014 and won awards as the best offensive lineman… I went back and watched. The key game was when they played Penn State. I watched all the pass-rush snaps against Abdul Carter \u2014 and I thought he more than held his own; he really did. Carter got him one time with a double-arm swat-down. But I thought that overall, with the athleticism, the way he handled Carter athlete-to-athlete and his quickness off the ball… I just think he has a chance to be a really good one.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

31. <\/strong>Kansas City Chiefs: RB <\/strong>TreVeyon Henderson<\/p>\n

Chiefs running backs ranked 30th in yards per carry and 31st in explosive runs last season, including the playoffs. While Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt provide toughness and physicality, Ohio State\u2019s TreVeyon Henderson could inject much-needed explosiveness and pass-catching ability into the backfield.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Former Chiefs quarterback Jordan Ta\u2019amu connected with wide receiver and 2020 Kansas City draft pick Cornell Powell for a highlight-worthy touchdown. Both players represent the DC Defenders and scored the clutch touchdown off a deflection from the St. Louis Battlehawks\u2019 defense.<\/p>\n

Powell was a fifth-round pick out of Clemson in the 2021 NFL Draft. He appeared in three regular-season games in his Chiefs career. Ta\u2019amu was briefly on the team during the 2020 season, which dealt with COVID-19 restrictions and rules. Both players spent most of their time on the practice squad, playing spring football to enhance their resumes for a potential NFL team in training camp.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Band said Monday he expects the Chiefs to target Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks. Moving up seven spots in the first round in a trade with Minnesota, Kansas City would avoid the dismal history associated with the 31st selection. The Chiefs would also keep AFC rival Houston from drafting the coveted prospect.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust like in my first mock,\u201d Band wrote, \u201cthe Chiefs trade up to No. 24 to secure their long-term answer at left tackle, leapfrogging Houston, a team that could also target offensive line help at No. 25. The last time the Chiefs came off a Lombardi Trophy-free season, GM Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid made a similar move up the board to secure a need and draft cornerback Trent McDuffie.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The good news is the end of the first round is a nice spot to get a defensive tackle in this class. Derrick Harmon (Oregon) would be the dream of all dreams, but the Chiefs likely represent his floor at No. 31. (I wouldn\u2019t mind a small trade-up, a la the Xavier Worthy deal last year, to go get him.) Otherwise, Kenneth Grant (Michigan) is a space-gobbling nose tackle with pass-rush upside, and Walter Nolen (Ole Miss) is a slippery penetrator with run-defending upside. Pick your poison.<\/p>\n

I could also see the Chiefs addressing either the left tackle or left guard spot in Round 1. Jaylon Moore\u2019s two-year, $30 million deal is not nearly big enough to prohibit them from snagging a starting left tackle, should they believe in a player like Josh Conerly Jr. (Oregon) or Josh Simmons (Ohio State). Similarly, while there\u2019s internal excitement about 2024 second-round pick Kingsley Suamataia starting at left guard in Joe Thuney\u2019s shoes, he played only one game there last season and is not a sure bet. Donovan Jackson (Ohio State) is a scheme fit and would be a home-run selection.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And so, even if the Dolphins would be inclined to listen, there\u2019s nothing to listen to. It leaves them on the hook for more than $25 million in fully-guaranteed compensation in 2025, along with $1.8 million in per-game active roster bonuses.<\/p>\n

Complicating a trade would be the cap consequences. Before June 1, the Dolphins would absorb $28.28 million in dead money. After June 1, it would be $12.72 million this year and $15.56 million in 2026.<\/p>\n

Still, a trade would free up $25.85 million in cash. With no one calling (if no one has called), it means that other teams don\u2019t think Hill is worth the money and the draft picks that would be needed to get the Dolphins to trade him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

10. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs (2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mahomes is the midst of authoring one of the finest careers ever witnessed. Only 29 years old, Mahomes is a two-time MVP, three-time Super Bowl MVP and a two-time first-team All-Pro. He\u2019s also one of just three players in league history to win both of those awards multiple times, joining Joe Montana and Tom Brady. Additionally, Mahomes has thrown for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in the same season (2018), a feat only matched by Peyton Manning.<\/p>\n

Felton came to Maryland in 2021 as a three-star recruit out of Ashburn, Virginia. His early college career was impacted by recovery from a torn ACL in high school. After seeing his role increase for his first three seasons in College Park, Felton exploded in 2024 with 96 receptions for 1124 yards and nine touchdowns.<\/p>\n

He was not used as a returner at Maryland, but Felton did record 11 special teams tackles in college.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tai Felton is a WR prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.60 #RAS<\/a> out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 138 out of 3408 WR from 1987 to 2025. <\/p>\n
