While the most recent ones include the idea that the Browns could walk away from the NFL draft with both Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, that option would require a lot of teams to pass on Sanders and\/or not trade up to get him before Cleveland would have a shot.<\/p>\n<p id=\"BOYXWe\">Jalen Milroe started the offseason as a quarterback in which the Browns were rumored to be interested and was included in my latest rumors\/predictions. Since then, we\u2019ve covered the Milroe to Cleveland possibilities in a variety of ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"XodFLs\">Exclusive interview conducted with Milroe by DBN\u2019s Barry Shuck<\/li>\n<li id=\"XiyFvC\">Milroe being excited about the Browns but expecting to be \u201cnot trying to be a savior\u201d<\/li>\n<li id=\"d4wHDh\">QB expert says \u201ctape speaks\u201d for itself with Milroe\u2019s improvement<\/li>\n<li id=\"ljB5Pz\">Reasons Milroe would be successful in Cleveland<\/li>\n<li id=\"2bHzh2\">Milroe among 5 trade up targets in the late 1st round<\/li>\n<li id=\"SM2V6L\">Predicting the Browns QB room including Milroe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"Z97aDv\">The reality is that Cleveland\u2019s offense needs more than just a quarterback, needs to invest in skill positions more than they have in the past and needs a prospect better than Baker Mayfield was. Milroe doesn\u2019t solve all of that, but he\u2019s also the quarterback with the most upside with his physical gifts, football IQ and work ethic who could develop into something special.<\/p>\n<p id=\"vqJ0bx\">Based on multiple reports, the Browns continue to be the most likely landing spot for the Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Daniel Jeremiah expects the Browns to draft a QB, but not at #2 overall. \ud83d\udc40 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/heykayadams?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@heykayadams<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MoveTheSticks?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@movethesticks<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/a3e3qm667d\">pic.twitter.com\/a3e3qm667d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Up &amp; Adams (@UpAndAdamsShow) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/UpAndAdamsShow\/status\/1909283028637012169?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 7, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p id=\"po842d\">We wouldn&#8217;t spend as much time on Milroe writeups without some information that Cleveland\u2019s brass is very interested in the quarterback prospect and now we have an official report about how his private workout went with the team (and the New Orleans Saints):<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sources: Alabama QB Jalen Milroe had private workouts with the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Saints?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Saints<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Browns?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Browns<\/a> that were described as \u201cimpressive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also met with key members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Jets?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Jets<\/a> offensive staff and the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Steelers?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Steelers<\/a> \u2014 prior to his Pro Day last month. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iUXRStSDZr\">pic.twitter.com\/iUXRStSDZr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Schultz_Report\/status\/1909322459490267589?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 7, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p id=\"mMTVoY\">The Browns already had first-hand knowledge about Milroe from OC Tommy Rees. Milroe talked about how much he learned from Rees at Alabama. Now, in their private workout, the rest of Cleveland\u2019s decision makers got a better feel for the Crimson Tide signal caller.<\/p>\n<p id=\"k3Bybt\">With a little over two weeks left until the NFL draft, rumors will spread like wildfire. The Browns might love to draft Milroe but, as noted in Jordan Shultz\u2019s report, they may not be the only one.
