The Green Bay Packers are making their final preparations for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. With the first round scheduled to begin on April 24, fans won\u2019t have to wait too much longer to find out who the next class of young talent coming to the Packers will be.<\/p>\n

Right now, the team is scheduled to be on the clock in the first round with the No. 23 overall pick. That could change if Green Bay opts to make a trade, but there will be a lot of talented players available at No. 23.<\/p>\n

One of those players could end up being Georgia defensive lineman Mykel Williams.<\/p>\n

According to a report from Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network, the Packers are showing interest in Williams. They are expected to bring him in for a top-30 visit.<\/p>\n

Williams would be a very intriguing target for Green Bay.<\/p>\n

Standing in at 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Williams is strong physical presence. He has a lot of development left to do, but the raw talent level is off the charts with him.<\/p>\n

During the 2024 college football season with Georgia, Williams racked up 21 total tackles to go along with five sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass. In his two previous years with the Bulldogs, he had recorded 4.5 sacks in each year.<\/p>\n

Jeff Hafley helped take the defense to another level during the 2024 season. However, it was clear that the Packers still needed more pass rushing help. Williams could end up bringing the help that Green Bay needed.<\/p>\n

While this is just a visit and there is no guarantee that the Packers will actually draft Williams, he\u2019s a name to keep a very close eye on in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
