That guy might very well be Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who many scouts say is not only the best wideout in the class, but also the one who can most quickly play at a “WR1” level.<\/p>\n
And this weekend, the Cowboys staff got a close-up look at McMillan, who last year totaled 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns on his way to earning All-American recognition.<\/p>\n
What\u00a0did Dallas see\u00a0as McMillan’s worked at Arizona’s Pro Day?<\/p>\n
He ran a dazzling 4.48 in the 40-yard dash. … and he did it while being listed at 6-5 and 212 pounds.<\/p>\n
Some are criticizing Dallas for a lack of urgency at the receiver position in free agency, and we continue to push the idea that a signing of a Keenan Allen or a Stefon Diggs doesn’t block owner Jerry Jones’ team from also fishing for a receiver in the first round. …<\/p>\n
And that at the same time, a big-time free agency move creates a situation in which Dallas takes McMillan not because they “need” him, but rather because he is both available and ranked at No. 12 or higher on personnel boss Will McClay’s big board.<\/p>\n
