The Kansas City Chiefs are going into the 2025 off-season with numerous off-the-field issues surrounding their team. Of course, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make headlines nearly every day, but there are other legal issues at hand as well.<\/p>\n

One starter now has a restraining order against him.<\/p>\n

Chiefs Starter Has Restraining Order Placed Against Him (Breaking)<\/h3>\n

Following Xavier Worthy\u2019s arrest, Tia Jones filed for and received a temporary\u00a0protective order\u00a0against the Kansas City Chiefs receiver:<\/p>\n

While criminal charges could possibly come later, a protective order has been granted against the Chiefs wide receiver as investigations continue.<\/p>\n

Jones\u2019s attorneys announced Wednesday via\u00a0Cory Mose\u00a0of KVUE that she has obtained a temporary protective order against the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver.<\/p>\n

Worthy, arrested on March 7 in Texas on allegations of assault involving a family or household member, was held in jail before being released.<\/p>\n

Attorneys representing Tia Jones have emphasized that she is fully cooperating with authorities as the investigation unfolds against Xavier Worthy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tia Jones\u2019 attorney released the following\u00a0statement:<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, Tia Jones filed an application for a protective order against Xavier Worthy, based [on] his violent actions against her culminating on the night of March 7, 2025,\u201d the statement explains. \u201cBased upon the truthful information provided by Ms. Jones, a judge has granted a temporary protective order on her behalf. She is fully cooperating with law enforcement as they continue to actively investigate the violence that occurred that night.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Jones has chosen to use her voice to speak up for herself. In so doing, she looks forward to the facts and circumstances of that night coming to light through the formal legal process and getting the justice that she deserves. She appreciates the support that she has received thus far.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Worthy\u2019s attorney also responded:<\/p>\n

We are aware of the civil court (not criminal court) filing by Ms. Jones and her criminal defense team,\u201d they said in a release issued to\u00a0PFT. \u201cMr. Worthy denies each of the allegations by Ms. Jones. Unfortunately, false allegations continue to be made, this time in civil court. Today the accuser returned items stolen from Mr. Worthy\u2019s residence while he was in jail and there are items still missing from when he was incarcerated. Mr. Worthy maintains his innocence and stands by the conclusions of the District Attorney after law enforcement\u2019s review of Ms. Jones\u2019 unfounded allegations.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
