He was 45 years old.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_3-0\">In an announcement shared on his X account, it was revealed that the social media personality died after living with Hodgkin&#8217;s lymphoma for 19 years. He was surrounded by loved ones when he died.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_5-0\">&#8220;Good morning. Andy passed away peacefully this morning beside his loving family,&#8221; the post reads. &#8220;We thank you all for your support and love over the years. This was a genuine space of laughter and kindness. Please carry this spirit on in honor of Andy. As always, Faturday forever and FTB.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\">Isaac was widely known in the Detroit community for his thoughts on the city&#8217;s food, amassing a large following of widely known sports figures like Pat McAfee and Barstool Sports personalities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/people.com\/thmb\/nDWYyhMMv9kKn2s-IzJ77pcYOFk=\/4000x0\/filters:no_upscale():max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(622x0:624x2):format(webp)\/andy-isaac-1-030625-7233950bc1b34950ad853fce38cf31cb.jpg\" alt=\"Andy Isaac\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_12-0\">Detroit Lions players, fans within the team&#8217;s football community and other sports personalities posted various tributes to Isaac in response to the announcement.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_14-0\">&#8220;Heartbroken, RIP Andy,&#8221; wrote former Detroit Lions guard Graham Gaslow, adding a broken heart emoji.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Good morning .<br \/>\nAndy passed away peacefully this morning beside his loving family. FTB always,&#8221; penned Detroit sports media personality Tony Dombrowski.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_20-0\">On Feb. 18, Isaac shared &#8220;some final thoughts&#8221; on X as he revealed he had entered hospice.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_22-0\">&#8220;Personal news: I have composed so many messages on social media. I have decided on hospice care,&#8221; he continued.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_29-0\">&#8220;Life has been a struggle these last few months and years. I hope I can find some peace in hospice. I may keep a journal of my final days. I&#8217;m not sure yet,&#8221; Isaac shared. &#8220;I&#8217;m tired and I&#8217;m in pain, i have a horrible foot infection that is preventing me from walking and I just don&#8217;t have the strength to do all the last minute things I want.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_31-0\">Isaac concluded, &#8220;But I&#8217;ll try. I hope I gave you all a positive outlook on life. I hope I made even the smallest impact. Be kind to each other. I love you all.
