The Detroit Lions may have solidified themselves as the best team in the NFL on Sunday by taking down the 6-2 Green Bay Packers. on the road, in the elements, by a score of 24-14.<\/p>\n

A pick-6 with just about 30 seconds left in the first half secured a 17-3 lead for Detroit.\u00a0 A lead they would never give up.<\/p>\n

However, the day following their win had some pretty massive news attached to it.<\/p>\n

According to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk:<\/p>\n

Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams was already serving a two-game suspension for violating the NFL\u2019s policy on performance-enhancing substances when news broke last week that he\u2019s facing a concealed weapons charge. But Lions coach Dan Campbell says there are no concerns about Williams this week.<\/p>\n

Campbell said Williams worked hard during his suspension and will be ready to play on Sunday night against the Texans.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been here,\u201d Campbell said of Williams\u2019 work during the suspension. \u201cHe couldn\u2019t be out there in practice, but he was here training, we had him running, he was in the meetings, all of that, so he\u2019s really been here. We\u2019re throwing him back in there. He\u2019s going. Let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams is second on the Lions with 361 receiving yards, and he\u2019s the Lions\u2019 best big-play receiver. They won two games without him, but their offense is better when he\u2019s available, and despite the off-field issues, the Lions expect to have him available going forward.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
