The Green Bay Packers are no strangers to trades.\u00a0 To go even further, Green Bay isn\u2019t afraid of committing to massive wide receiver trades.\u00a0 Going into this off-season, wide receiver Tee Higgins will be a massive name to watch.<\/p>\n

As it turns out, Packers fans may be paying a little closer attention.<\/p>\n

In the wake of Green Bay Packers\u2019 early playoff exit in 2024, one of the realities this team and fan base are having to accept is that the offense needs an adequate No. 1 wide receiver.<\/span><\/p>\n

QB Jordan Love\u2019s receiver room is talented, but devoid of elite talent. There are a lot of things to like about Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks.<\/p>\n

But Tee Higgins could be a whole different ball game:<\/p>\n

If\u00a0the room had a true, elite talent, that player could elevate the rest of them.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati has another big contract to worry about fulfilling soon in fellow wide receiver Ja\u2019Marr Chase, who is going to surpass every other contract at the position. Now, could the Bengals keep them both?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s possible, but doesn\u2019t seem all that likely, especially considering the improvements needed on the defensive side of the ball.<\/p>\n

Recently, Bengals general manager Duke Tobin\u00a0commented on the Higgins contract situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be hard,\u201d Tobin said in regards to re-signing Higgins.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe feel like we have the resources to do it, but it all depends on how the negotiation goes and whether they\u2019re willing to accept wanting to come back at a number that makes sense for everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
