While Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts officially cleared the concussion protocol and is on track to make his first start since Week 16 on Sunday afternoon, and dynamic wide receiver A.J. Brown returned to practice, one of Hurts\u2019 most prolific weapons seemed to suffer a setback.<\/p>\n

Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith didn\u2019t practice on Friday,\u00a0due to back tightness, which calls his ability to play Sunday into question.<\/p>\n

Smith has been one of the Eagles\u2019 most vital offensive contributors this season, catching 68 passes for 833 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns, while surpassing 100 receiving yards twice in 2024.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>Back in the regular season opener between the Packers and Eagles, in Brazil, Smith caught seven passes for 84 yards.<\/p>\n
